The bulk of the Bureau's activities are carried out by a team of voluntary workers. There are over 50 volunteers. Additionally the 17 members of the Trustee Board give their time on a voluntary basis. Whilst the number of hours given by each individual may vary, the advisers commit between 8 to 12 hours per week, with additional time for training and other meetings. It would cost £450,000 per year more if this voluntary work had to be paid for at the market rate. |
